Summary
ReLoved helps people give away and discover items locally. We collect the information needed to run accounts, listings, search, chat, email contact, moderation, and optional web-based supporter payments. We do not sell personal data.
What We Collect
- Account data: email address, display name, Firebase user ID.
- Listing data: title, description, image, approximate area, listing status.
- Communication data: in-app chat messages, email contact requests, moderation reports.
- Operational data: analytics, crash reports, app integrity/App Check tokens, audit logs.
- Billing data for optional web support flows: Stripe customer and subscription references.
How We Use Data
- To authenticate users and secure access to the app.
- To publish and search listings near a selected area.
- To let users contact each other by chat or email about a listing.
- To detect abuse, investigate reports, and protect the service.
- To monitor reliability, performance, and product quality.
- To manage optional supporter billing on web where applicable.
How Data Is Shared
- Listings and approximate areas are visible to other app users.
- Chat messages are visible only to the participants in that conversation.
- Your email address is shared with the listing owner if you use email contact.
- We use Firebase, SendGrid, and Stripe as processors/sub-processors.
Retention
- Listings remain until removed by the user or deleted with the account.
- Chat content may be redacted after retention limits or account deletion workflows.
- Moderation reports are retained while needed for abuse investigation and safety review.
- Billing records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account directly in the app from Profile -> Delete account. This removes your profile, listings, contact requests, and local moderation records, and anonymizes your chat history in ReLoved systems.
GDPR Rights
If you are in the UK or EEA, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data. Contact team@greenhilledge.co.uk.
